Boston and Castle Island welcomes an international fleet of Tall Ships as part of the Sail250® tour, a global maritime celebration marking 250 years of American independence.

The Grand Parade of Sail will be on Saturday July 11th 9 am to 4 pm. The best location to view the tall Ships will be on Castle Island!  

The Castle Island parking lot will be closed starting late Friday night (TBD) and all day on Saturday July 11th.  The parking lot will re-open for normal hours starting on Sunday July 12th. 

Castle Island will be open to all visitors by 7 am on Saturday.  All visitors must pass through a security check point.  

The MBTA will be running a round trip shuttle bus service every 5 minutes starting at 7 am from JFK Red Line station in Dorchester and it will drop you off inside the parking lot.  All visitors will then need to pass through the security check point.
