We are closed for the winter season until Saturday, February 25.

Open 7 days a week from the end of February until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Breakfast 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., regular menu from 10:30 until close. Closing at sunset until the weather warms up!

Frequently Asked Questions

When do you close for the day?

That all depends on the weather! On beautiful summer weekend days we usually stay open until 10:00 p.m. On rainy days in the spring and fall, we'll close if no one is on Castle Island. Don't be dissappointed, call ahead if you are heading down after lunch time and the weather is bad.

When do you close for the season?

The winter weather on Castle Island can be brutal! We close for the winter every year on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Closing November 27, 2011. It is a sure sign of spring when we'll open in 2012 on Saturday, February 26.

We have a large group of people coming down to the Island, can we get a group order?

Sure, for larger groups (over 20 people) we can accomodate a group order depending on the time of day (not between Noon-1:30 p.m.) and what you would like. Please call us at least a few days in advance or send us an email and we will follow up with you. We are a take-out facility only.

Little did we know when we started the Facebook page at the beginning of the 2010 season that we’d have over 25,000 followers join in 6 months! I’d like to share with you how we use Facebook and what you can expect to see on our wall.

Castle Island is the star of the show! Our Facebook page is a great place to see current photos of the Island. Have you checked out the photo album from August’s U.S.S. Constitution turn around? We also post information when we know that a special event will occur on the Island.

Sully’s trivia & specials: Every once in a while we’ll post a trivia question. In addition, we let you know if we have a special-this summer $7.95 lobster rolls were a fan favorite. Our goal is to keep the page fun.

Keepin’ it clean! The people that ‘like’ us on Facebook are as diverse as the people that stroll the Island from dawn to dusk. We’ll delete posts that are spam but also posts that we wouldn’t want a grandmother to read! 99% of the posts on the page are just a great way for us all to share our love of Castle Island. Although we can’t reply to every post, we do read every post and want to Thank You for taking the time to share your thoughts & opinions!
